How Do You Determine the Quality of the Air in Your Home?

At DiMarco & Associates we have 4 years of experience testing for and resolving indoor air quality issues. We use a monitor that we purchased from a third party named Air Advice™. We plug the monitor in and let it take readings for 30 minutes. Once the 30 minutes is up the results are set to your technician’s email and he will email them to you. All or the reporting is done through the Air Advice™ software, so we are unable to alter the results in anyway. The technician will go over the results with you, and if there are any areas of concern the technician will recommend ways to resolve the issue(s). See the sample test results below.

Humidifiers

Although it is often under estimated the proper level of humidiy in the air is very important. Not having enough humidityin the air can aggrevate allergies, trigger respitory illnesses, cause dry sore throats with a cough, itchy dry skin, chapped lips and more. Humidifiers help relieve all of these symptoms.

Fresh Air Systems

We install many different types of systems that are designed to bring resh air in the home in order to reduce polution in the home. A few examples are ERVs, HRVs and fresh air intakes.

Media Air Cleaner

Media air cleaners permanently trap indoor air particles such as pollen, mold, dust and bacteria to help you breath easier. If anyone in your home suffers from Asthma or Allergies this is a must have. They also keep the components of your HVAC equipment clean and therefore operating more efficiently.

Air Scrubbers

The Aerus air scrubber attaches directly to your duct work and uses ActivePure® Technology to remove VOCs, surface contaminants, pet dander. odors, dust and more.

Polarized Media Air Cleaner

Polarized media air cleaners fit into your existing 1" filter space but work much better than the standard filter. They work like a magnet to remove the smalest air particles, as small as .01 microns. They polarize particles that pass through them which then attract other polarizied particles until they are big enough to be collected.

Ionizers

We install ionizers such as the Plasma pure that produce postive and negative oxygens ions to neutralize particulate matter, bacteria and virus cells, odorous gases and aerosols, and VOCS without any ozone emissions.

Duct Cleaning

We offer duct cleaing and sanitizing to reduce the amount of dust and bacteria coming from your duct work while your systems are running. It can help reduce allery and asthma symptoms and prolong the life of your HVAC equipment.
